Health & Fitness · 4+

The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

Viewer reviews from iTunes

Pretty good (5/5)

I wasn’t sure if this app was legit of not till I actually downloaded it and I’m pretty happy with it. Sweat coin has a lot of discounts and deals you can get by earning sweat coins by walking or running. They’ve said in the near future they should be converting sweat coins into actual money which I am very excited for! - Star savvy

Frustrating (1/5)

I’ve been using sweatcoin since December and it was fine until the last couple updates. No matter what I do on their FAQ all of my steps aren’t being converted. I’ll walk 5,000-10,000 and maybe 98-300 will actually convert over. When I contacted support explaining that I tried all the troubleshoot problems a computer message reaches out to with the exact same listings as the FAQ. Don’t download it’s no longer worth it. - alysssuum

The good reviews on here are fake (1/5)

good luck earning anything unless you get hundreds of friends to download the app. I'm convinced all of the good reviews are fake. The first week they show you deals that are good and attainable but those expire after the first week. Then it will take you a year to even make $50. - Aeararaarareararararearararra

Ummm (2/5)

the app is alright or whatever but everytime when i would go on the app it would always refresh how much money i earned. - Alii Sparks

Why? (2/5)

To me I feel there could be more potential, like why can’t I scroll down to read the messages you deliberately have everywhere on the screen or why is it that all your settings and wording is overlapping? The producers and the tech staff need to come together and figure out a better performance let alone a better layout for the app itself. Tell then I will remain to not have ye app download for it is poorly put together. - WatsonnostaW

Keeps crashing plus..... (1/5)

I can't do anything with the app anymore because now suddenly it crashes within 5 seconds of opening it. Also the offers you can spend your "crypto currency" on are pathetic. The only good offers are yearly goals, meaning you have to save up your coins for a year getting the max amount of coins everyday. - Asurashor

Several kinks to work out (3/5)

Yes, I know, you can’t use indoors or sync with your FitBit or other devices, and that is frustrating but what really bothers me are the inaccuracies. On one hand it says that I’ve walked over 6K steps today, so why has it only banked 2K for me? Clearly the GPS is working. Customer service is non-existent too which is a bummer, but I suppose you get what you pay for, which is as little as nothing. I was going to bump up to the next level but if this app can’t bank steps that it acknowledges that I’ve taken then there isn’t much point. Looking forward to some updates in the future to improve the issues. - Ladyisatraveler

PROS & CONS! (3/5)

The idea of this entire app is incredible. However, the rewards are too far off to even get. Algorithms are just weird. There should be a clear distinction between male rewards and female rewards based on the profile. Men should not get offers for female products! Again, I like the idea of this app but if I don’t see any improvements then I’ll delete it from my phone. - AlliKnowisH1M

This app doesn't give anything free i had used my points and money buying two stuffs it didn't work it just make u fool there is nothing free in this world i m deleting this app from my phone - yaksidb

Wack. (1/5)

Help (2/5)

Every time I put my number in and the app ask for a code that supposedly sent to me phone which it hasn’t, what could be the problem?(I have a IPhone 7+) - Mercury9ine

Not available in my location (4/5)

So I live in United Arab Emirates and so when I get coins I can’t convert it to any offers unless I’m in America or someplace else can u plz do something about this but over all this app is amazing it’s fun seeing how much I’ve walked everyday and it’s kinda fun with friends tooo - samir13107

🤗🤗🤗 (4/5)

Really good app I like it. - anaboo55

Good, but having problem!! (3/5)

Good App! The problem is that I have been claiming the “Daily Reward” like every single day, but the reward bonus stopped counting from April 5, 2018 until now! I hope it get fixed! Thank You!! - _jannat_

It’s my money & I want it now! (2/5)

When oh when will this app let us deposit our money into our back accounts or into our PayPal or even cash app?! Pleeeeease! I wanna use my money for what I want! - Trixie1984Mari

Amazing app (5/5)

This app is amazing! Easy way to earn money and stay fit and healthy! - Daekwanea

No risk (5/5)

I was speaking my knowledge of sweatcoin to my fellow classmates and professor earlier this week. He was saying don’t spend money on Cryptocurrency. I quickly interrupted him by saying “There isn’t any money involved unless you’re paying shipping and handling. You make sweatcoin by walking, not buying in a market.” I absolutely love the idea behind the sweatcoin. It’s even better knowing it’ll be using blockchain in the future! - BKStacker46

It’s ok app (5/5)

It would be nice if you where able to cash out.... - FernandoBrown

Sweatcoin (4/5)

This app is not a scam it is legit I got a sick bracelet just for 5 sweatcoins - BIGBOI123900

Best app (5/5)

Nice - Isaiahballs

Sweatcoin to PayPal (5/5)

Great app, wished you didn’t have to walk so much in order to redeem PayPal money codes though. - Jjjjjjydsgkv

Update not great! (2/5)

Ever since the last update, I'm not getting even half of my steps converted! Before the last update I was getting at least half, if not more. And there have been a couple days where I haven't had over 100 converted when I've walked over 2000. What ever you guys did, you went the wrong way in your programming. 😞 I downgraded my subscription to the free one. I was hoping this past update was going to fix it. But I walked over 2200 steps on Tuesday, and only had 300 converted. Was very happy with the app when I first downloaded. Now not so much. - Patty718

Great App (4/5)

A great app that incentivizes exercises or more activity, only down side is that it does not count the steps taken indoors - MattRasaurus

One of the worst ad-spam-junk apps (1/5)

Fake blockchain, just riddled with ads featuring promotions for products. Terribly undercounts steps, making it useless for step tracking as well. - The DH Review

Make an app for iPad minis and iPad (4/5)

I want to make money too and it’s unfair I feel left out loll, Please do also this is staying a four but please MAKE ONE FOR IPAD LIKE I WANT MOMEY TOO - desslemon

Great app! (5/5)

I love this app! I understand what some people mean about not counting indoor steps, but I have been running around the house and getting steps in. And it doesn’t take 11 months to get five coins. I have been using this app for 2 months and have 50 Sweatcoins and I know that’s not a lot but it’s better than nothing. I think it was a great idea. Plus you get a coin everyday for free. Overall it’s a great app and the only thing I’m not a big fan of is the battery life, because I’m that person who always has there battery on low battery mode. But thanks for trying to fix that problem. You should really get this app! - Calla.lane

My input (3/5)

I think this is a wonderful app. Now only do you stay in shape by walk outside, but you also earn cash while doing so. Therefore, I believe this app would be way better if we were able to transfer the money we’ve earned to bank accounts or services such as, the Cash app & PayPal. Please take this under consideration because I have earned a ton of money and don’t want to see it nor this app go to waste. - Lawjacks02

Overall good but... (3/5)

The only thing i dont like about this app is that there is a limit to how many coins you can earn each day and month - promrs

Just ok (2/5)

This is a really great concept but the offers are not even remotely good offers. They are a free trial for an app or something you can gather up points for 10 years and buy a TV. I have done the math that if you don’t pay for a subscription the most you can earn is $5 a day and the biggest prize is $10,000 - Leeexxx

Wack (1/5)

Conversion was pretty good at first, around 85%, then steadily declined as I continued to use the app. Why? Today, the conversion of my 4,000 steps so far was around 7%. That’s a bit alarming. I was outside the whole time walking a long, straight path in an area with good internet connectivity. I think it’s because these sweatcoins might eventually be worth something eventually and their “Algorithm” is just them skimming. I fully understand why so many people hate it and call it a scam now. I will not revise my review until my coins that I earned are issued to me, but even if they fixed it and I never had this problem again, the most I could give them is four stars because this happened at all. - Fist me daddy

Getting worse. Here’s an ad before your ad. Enjoy! (1/5)

More ads! Longer ads! The app is slowly falling off bc they took a great idea and made its amount of ads comparable to buzzfeed. Terrible rewards unless you’re going to use the app for 10 years to get a $50 gift card. Or you can go for 30 years and a phone or airline miles. They say you can share rewards but how many people are going to give you 15 years of their life not to mention share a phone!? - JBalls12345678910

Ok (4/5)

It’s good but I wish a credit card wasn’t required for everything, 13 yr olds do t have credit cards - RomatrixDaGod

FitBit (5/5)

Is it possible to hook the app to a Fitbit, like the fitBit can track you steps for this app, or is it only an Apple Watch - Adam.Berg

I can’t buy anything like the mos cases. (2/5)

This app has beeen giving me trouble buying stuff it shows on the buying section. I can’t buy anything no matter how hard I try to. I looked up on YouTube and everything I would like it if you actually could buy stuff. - Jjsgdwsg

Poor algorithm (2/5)

I dont know how the algorithm works but its very poorly designed. I walked 10000 steps today and got 0.6 sweatcoins which is outrageous. Even though most of my walk was outdoor still I couldn’t get 1 sweatcoin in the whole day. - destinykid28

More rewards (4/5)

More reward options would be greatly appreciated - kevnalexander

Super Fun! (5/5)

I love how you can walk and earn money! This makes my walks a little more interesting! - SkyRamen

Ok (4/5)

Plz increase how much you can walk with mover and the rest of them plz - Joelmoore54321

Great (5/5)

I lovvveee this it is like the best thing ever I get good deals or like other thing for walking, running, shaking and it’s just the bomb😍💕 - yass greatt

Great (4/5)

This app gives you money (that’s really bonus items that you get from signing up for a service) but the items are unique and geared towards the customer. You couldn’t receive those items if you just signed up I checked and they give you a bonus from getting the items through Sweatcoin. So I’m really glad I got the app because I would probably signed up for the service anyway but not received the discounted price or the extra free stuff without Sweatcoin so it’s worth the download if you are going to walk anyway you might as well be paid for it. - Skreazo

Needs bug fixed?? (4/5)

I’ve wanted to see what the SWC price of something was but my sweatcoin app never loads what I click, could this be a bug? My step moms app does the same and turns itself off after a while of loading. - Zacky8694

Every update gets worse (1/5)

I was enjoying the app. Every update gets progressively worse. Battery usage has gotten worse with updates. Constantly misses steps with new updates. And the daily bonuses never work now. Not really worth the battery life, constant tracking, and whatever other info they’re collecting from the app... - bAd DeTeCtIvE

Frustrating (1/5)

I had 84 dollars and the took out thirty bucks because of a monthly substitution charge that didn’t even tell me about - taggtj

Great (5/5)

I’ve been using this app for a little while now and I absolutely love it!!! - samayers054

It’s pretty good app, not very useful currency atm (3/5)

Pretty good app. I have got myself 21 swc so far and it the paypal/amazon card is a good reason to save up for it, but other than that everything else is either just buying coupons to stuff I will never use or stuff I don’t even care for. I would suggest a second market where you can buy other people’s stuff (for example art pieces or esty-type products) in trade of sweat coins instead of “Exercise plans” or “A sports bra coupon.” - Shadowenderlord

Good app sort of (3/5)

I do enjoy using this app it does get me to walk more but the only thing that could improve is receiving the money, i would like to just be able to receive the money and I’m sure so would others. I just think to make this app better that should be done. - Jennsara99

Terrible (1/5)

I’ve had this app for around 6 months now, maybe more. What I can say is that this is a worthless app. No one individually goes out and walks 10,000 steps outside every day for an individual gift of $50 after a year of that every day. It’s unconventional. And unless you’re some sort of vegetarian that lives off the grass on your lawn and fit tea then this app is perfect for you, but it’s not for 99.9% of users. Don’t install this. Not to mention how this thing drains your battery faster than a fat boy chugs milk shakes. - Justin Brickley

Awesome (5/5)

Feels good to get paid for waking, which takes little effort and so rewarding - ramesh 81

Not satisfied (1/5)

The app was inconsistent on tracking outdoor steps, some days 90 percent of my steps were outdoor but none or little were recorded as outdoor. Plus even with it in battery saver mode it was a drain on my battery which I needed to charge daily from twice a week - frustratedatapp

Good idea, bad execution (1/5)

I was excited to start earning goodies for all of my hard work. In reality, it feels odd that the app has to stalk you every second of the day running in the background recording where you are. Also, all of the prizes are just discounts for stuff you probably could buy for cheap outside of this site. Ex: use your sweat coins to get $5off a $30 purchase. It would take you years to earn the big ticket items, especially if you don’t pay for the premium version that allows you to count more steps, I’m not sure it’s actually possible to earn the big TVs or gift cards. I gave in and bought a workout outfit through the app. It was being sold in Euros. By the time the high conversion rate hit my account and the international fee I paid almost 70 USD for a generic gym outfit. (Capri and sports bra). It took almost a month to be delivered, once here I have to pay shipping to send it back for a refund. This has been a horrible experience, nothing about this app is worth it. NOTHING. - zdhygrbf
