The worst company (1/5)

Uber is the only company I know that only forces you to sign in to your account with a phone number. I recently got a new number and have been unable to sign in. Now I’m having fraudulent charges on my account and Uber has been unwilling to help out at all because I can’t sign in to my old account without my old number. The fact that you make an app that is unable to sign in to another account just by email and password is pretty stupid on a developer. - Rolando da pool boy


Rip offs (1/5)

Requested a ride waited for my ride and they never showed up then the driver cancelled and I got charged. You can’t call because they have no customer support. Sent an email with my problem and I got a credit to my uber account not a refund. I don’t want to use your service anymore, give me my money back. From now on it’s Lyft for me. - Victormaddddd


Terrible at airports (1/5)

I love Uber, but getting picked up at most airports is still a nightmare. Have tried in Las Vegas, Boston and Chicago and all three are a mess in one way or another. Easy solution: allow riders and drivers to review locations (especially airports). Then you can sort the problems and tackle the most common first. Like no signage inside of Las Vegas airport and 10+ minute wait to go up an elevator that only holds 4 people (with luggage). Also, where is the landscape support for ~370 millions iPads that have been sold? If you want to stay relevant you need to support iPads (in landscape mode) for businesses that are switching to iPad Pro models with keyboards (#LandscapeFirst) #Fail - N/A 1234


Most ridiculous routes! (1/5)

I can’t count how many times the drivers take routes that take them completely away from me only to have to loop back to pick me up. This sadly isn’t a rare occurrence. Reporting it to Uber does little to nothing. - Psychor

They found out I had epilepsy so my drivers license was taken away. So Uber has become my best friend. I have had wonderful drivers and only one bad one. Other than that thank you for starting something that I don’t know what I would do without you. You have made my life a lot easier because I am handicapped and I do need help getting in and out of cars. The worst customer service EVER! (1/5)

I am shocked at how difficult Uber makes it to speak to a human and to solve a simple problem. After using Uber for a year the app decided my payment sources were “invalid.” Nothing changed with the accounts. In 24 hours I’ve had Multiple meaningless chats with so called customer service reps who’s instruction manuals must tell them to immediately blame the banking institution. My bank verified that there is nothing wrong with my card and still no one from Uber can help me. - Bored4days


UPDATE-Can’t Schedule a Ride (5/5)

1/22/18: The icon to schedule a ride fora future time is now present in the all. Not sure if it is a regional thing or because I got a new phone but now it’s present and I can rest easy knowing I can backwards-plan with ease 😊 I’ve been trying dearly to update and uninstall the app and there is no “vehicle icon” to schedule a ride for future travel. Had to get to the airport, which is pretty time sensitive, early in the morning. Put all my info into the system and just before it let me schedule my ride, it told me phone number was already in use and I had to fill out some form. Now I’m already in a rush to catch my flight so I had to use Lyft, which charged me nearly $40 when you guys were only gonna charge me about $25-27. As much I’d love to save the money by using Uber, this is the second time it’s just about left me stranded 👎 - Haaylzz1995

Mapping (3/5)

Uber needs to update its maps or something. The map had my driver pass me up and go a mile out of the way and come back around. Then while taking me to my destination, the map directions wanted him to go past my stop, make some turns then come back around. It looked like it was trying to avoid left turns but were plenty of places to make safe left hand turns. - calyhoney75

Great utility, the navigation function is garbage (1/5)

Uber, your utility is great, but I’ve lost count of the number of times your navigation app has led my driver on a wild goose chase to come get me. Your navigation app is absolute garbage, in some cases routing drivers to go southbound on major roads only to then be directed to turn back around north. It’s pathetic, especially in the era of Waze. Fix your navigation settings or I’ll start using Lyft. - Wubbman

Really Uber (1/5)

I had this app a couple months or so back and stopped using it because they said they did not accept my form of payment even though I had already taken multiple trips paid from said card. I downloaded it back this morning because I had no transportation to work. One, all of a sudden it wants to accept my payment which is the EXACT same one from months before which it did not accept. Two, when I requested a ride it was NOT picked up as soon as I requested so I tried to cancel it and retry but as soon as I clicked cancel it popped up saying "Would you like to cancel your ride with such and such it'll be a small fee" 😑 So rather than having to pay a small fee which would have been UBERS FAULT because of their lag or whatever happened whereas I wasn't notified I didn't cancel the ride. 3. For about 5 minutes or more the Uber app has said my driver has been 5 minutes away. 😑 I checked very often because I need to know when to step outside. Finally as of a minute ago it said he was 6 minutes away and his vehicle on the Uber map finally moving but yet says he's still 6 minutes away. 😑 - Anna Conna

I use Uber every day to get to/from work. I am an expat without a car and it’s useful to have Uber. I want to suggest an option for Saved Places, where I can add destinations to my Saved Places any time. Right now, I can only add destinations to my Saved Places during the trip. Sometimes I forget or I have something else to focus on and it’s irritating to be unable to simply save the destination when I arrive. I don’t understand why this isn’t an option but please add the ability to add locations to Saved Places any time I want. I would also like to be able to add a static pick up spot. Sometimes drivers will arrive but one street over from my apartment. My pickup location for my apartment won’t change, so marking a specific spot for pickup every time would be very useful. Finally it would be nice to have the option to select a route. To get to work, google maps recommends a longer route but I know a faster way. If I could edit the route for the driver I could avoid the problem of explaining the faster route to a new driver every day. - Owen Cox

4th time a driver hasn’t picked me up (1/5)

This is the 4th time ever a driver has accepted my ride ONLY to stay exactly where they were when they agreed to pick me up! Not ever evening moving toward me at all!!!!! And just like the previous times, I’ve called and texted the drivers to figure out why the app shows they have not moved, some 5, 10, 15 minutes later!, only to be ignored. And like each time I REFUSE to “ cancel” the ride as the driver will collect 5 bucks of mine if I do. So instead I leave the app open in the background FOR HOURS until they cancel it on their end!!! I then have had to, 4 times now!, find an alternative way to get where I am going! These drivers are doing this on purpose to sit at home & collect these fees for accepting rides the NEVER INTEND TO PICK UP! They are hoping on you canceling!! BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO REPORT THIS TO UBER!!! There is no way to leave feedback for the driver regarding this issue. Uber cares not about its customer base, and their system for accepting user feedback shows this. I am very disappointed. I understand this is a driver related issue, but I rate this app poorly because I’ve searched through all Uber’s “ report” options & can find no way to report this type of behavior nor a way to get back the time I’ve wasted because I’m charged for the defrauding act of bad drivers & left w/ no course of action to remedy this problem. - TrevorM89
